OLD Alien Series News
July 2001 - December 2001.

December 14, 2001
    Fixed dead links
I've just added a quick 'Forum' page, and that left just the 'Comic' heading as the only dead link on the index page. So, I've used that link to direct visitors to Dark Horse Comics, as they make all the Aliens series comic books. Of course, this is temporary until I make a comic page of my own. :)

    Interviews / Articles added!
I've uploaded several old interviews from 1986/87, with James Cameron, Bill Paxton, Lance Henriksen sharing their views on ALIENS. A very interesting article is actually written by James Cameron himself, in response to readers querys (and Aliens bashing) from a Starlog magazine. A very interesting read. Also added was an article on Alien Resurrection from 1994...it also shares some views from Joss Whedon...and shares who was interested in directing Aliens vs Predator at the time. To read them, just go to the Aliens - Film and the Alien Resurrection - Film areas.

More interviews to come, as well as making a quick page to link to many Aliens forums that are available on the Internet. Thanks for visiting!

    Anniversary...
Just 4 years and 3 days ago, ALIEN RESURRECTION was released in North American theaters. My, how time does fly. :)

    Alien Skull...STOLEN!?!?
All credit goes to the great Alien Domain for digging up this news item. Apparently the famous Alien Skull, seen at the end of Predator 2 (in the predators ship), has been stolen and is classified as a missing art item by the LAPD. Don't take my word, take the LAPD's and of course Alien Domain's.

    Site Updates
I'm updating different areas of the site. I just got a quick version of the Alien Store, and I'm currently finishing up a decent version of the Cut-Scenes. Thanks for visiting!

HARI has created a website devoted to everyone's favorite screamer. Yep, Newt! To check out this new website, just Click Here, to visit the first Newt Fan Page.

    ALIEN Alumni...are rich!
The list of Britain's top 500 earners has been compiled by The Sunday Times and proves that film, television and sporting personalities still get some of the biggest pay packets around. The list examines earnings over the past 12 months from salaries, dividends, share sales and even lottery wins.
Here is the top 10 of TV and Film performers:
    1) Sir Anthony Hopkins £19m
    2) Ridley Scott £17m
    3) David Dimbleby £8.2m
    4) Liam Neeson £8m
    5) Anne Robinson £6.5m
    6) Catherine Zeta-Jones £5.5m
    7=) Ewan McGregor £5m
    7=) Patrick Stewart £5m
    7=) Tracey Ullman £5m
    10) Jude Law £4m

    Ridley's next flick...
From Variety - Based on stellar early screenings, Sony has opted to open ""Black Hawk Down'' for a limited Oscar qualifying run Dec. 28. The Ridley Scott-directed military actioner will open in two theaters in both L.A. and New York before expanding to 2,500 screens on Jan. 18. The picture, which stars Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor and Eric Bana, details the disastrous U.S. military mission in Somalia that resulted in the deaths of 18 Americans and hundreds of Somalis. It's based on a book by Mark Bowden.
Hollywood Reporter adds - Two weeks ago, Scott showed a cut of the film -- produced by Joe Roth's Revolution Studios, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Scott's Scott Free and Columbia Pictures -- to executives at Sony Pictures, which will distribute it, and they greeted it enthusiastically. "It really came down to Joe and Sony and their distribution team," Bruckheimer said of the decision to shift into high gear to complete the movie in time for a year-end release. "They saw the picture, and they saw the power of the movie and changed the release date." Sony distribution chief Jeff Blake said: "When we saw the film, we felt it deserved Academy Award consideration but that it would also be a wide commercial release as well. We always hoped to get it out as soon as possible, and now we were able to commit to this plan, which should serve it well."

    Fan costumes/guns and lasertag!
Want to see some pictures of Live Action Roleplay? Peter fills us in: I do some live-action roleplay in the UK, using the laser tag system for combat. Most games are played in a futuristic setting and an old favourite is... Wait for it... Have you guessed yet... Here it comes... USCM and Aliens! Predators also crop up occasionally, as well as other genres such as HP Lovecraft, Stargate and Vietnam. There's a reasonable pic of aliens and preds, as well as some of the hardware used... Just Click Here to check it out.

    Trivia updates...
Anyone ever wonder what the Norwiegan title of ALIEN RESURRECTION was? "Alien - Oppstandelsen." Want to know what it means? Visit the Trivia area. [Thanks to Spug!]
Peter M. also passes along some neat info on the Battersea Powerstation, which was used in the 'Aliens Hive' in ALIENS. All in the Trivia area.

    ALIEN/ALIENS ranking
On Halloween, E! Entertainment Television Channel had a special on the top 13 scariest movies ever. ALIEN came at #12. Also, they had a 'famous quotes' category and at #5 was "Get away from her you bitch" said by Ripley in ALIENS. [Thanks to Ivan for the scoop!]

    Links links links...
I've updated the Links area. You may have been to some of the sites already (they are all good and different), and here is a quick list of the new sites:
A fantastic Nostromo webpage, a French Fan website, The Alien Domain (which has a few great quotes from Alien Alumni as they discuss why ALIEN was so scary...), Alien Hunters, the homepage for the Alien Homeworld screenplay, and finally the oft-updated Alien Experience.

Please Note: For some odd reason I'm having problems uploading the updated links section...I know it isn't working right now, so please try back again later. Thanks.

    Stan Winston's latest project...
I got some new info on what Stan Winston is up to... (Stan Winston is the ALIENS creature costume guru. You can read this Press Release, or this summary:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SCREENBLAST, WILDTANGENT AND DISTANT CORNERS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP START AN EVILUTION
Sci-Fi Thriller Game Appears Exclusively on Screenblast as part of Creature Features' "How to Make a Monster" movie on Cinemax
(LOS ANGELES, Oct. 11, 2001) Screenblast, the recently launched broadband creativity platform, WildTangent, leaders in interactive media technology, and Distant Corners Entertainment Group announced today the launch of "Evilution: The Legend of Helnaar" on Screenblast (www.screenblast.com). Evilution is a game featured in the Cinemax pay cable premiere of "How to Make a Monster," which is part of the Creature Features series produced by Lou Arkoff, Stan Winston and Colleen Camp. "How to Make a Monster," premiering October 11 at 10:00 p.m. EST, is about a group of greedy misfit programmers who develop the ultimate, scary video game, "Evilution," only to be hunted down by its indestructible monster. With $1 million and their lives at stake, it's winner- take-all in a game with no rules.

    More Stan Winston...
Sticking with today's Stan Winston theme, you can read an interview that he did, where he talks about how he established himself in the industry, and what he thinks of the future of generated images/special effects. Just surf to the newly created Screenblast and read away. :)

Aliens Vs Predator - The Movie
Ok, so if the link for yesterday's update on AVP2 wasn't working, then This Link should work fine. Joel Silver has some comments on the 'Aliens Vs Predator' movie, and when asked if his company is involved....:
Joel: No, it's not.  I wish.  Fox is doing it without us.  I don't know, maybe he's working on it.  I think they're talking about doing something.  There is some deal in place.  I'm with Warner Brothers and it's really hard for me to leave Warner Brothers, but I think they're planning something.

I should be better with emails now; for a while I was having trouble updating... all because of a silly error on my part. :)

    Alien 5 'quotes and facts'
I've uploaded the Alien 5 - Facts and Quotes section. It is the culmination of just about all the official statements, rumours, and facts that have been posted on the website within the past 3 years. There is also a new addition, regarding an ALIEN 5 "hint" from the recent UK documentary.

    ALIEN website...
Another ALIEN website that posts news quite often is The ALIEN Domain, so check it out. Go to the news to read the post on what Michael Biehn's favorite movie is, and why. Quite romantic, I think. :)

    ALIENSHIVE
ALIENSHIVE is back up and running, and even better than before. They also host this site! So go visit ALIENSHIVe. Enough said. :)

    Ryan's Auction Update...
Added a few more items to the Auction Update, courtesy of Ryan.

    Network message ... for Australia
This message is for a Lisa in Australia. This is your friend Ryan from Colorado and I am having trouble locating you. It has been about 2 years since I last had contact with you, and I miss you. If you see this, e-mail me at Ryguy16@earthlink.net

    Stan Winston's next film
Full story at Dark Horizons: "I am planning to direct another film in the near future. There are a couple of possibilities that could happen within the next year. One is a film from a screenplay that I have been developing for a couple of years, which presently is set up at Twentieth Century Fox. I am producing with James Cameron and LightStorm, and I will be directing. The present title of the film is "Damned If You Do" and it is a fantasy comedy; it's a script that I love and hope to make happen within the next year.

Bishop / Vasquez / Hudson on film
DavisDVD reports that the Lance Henriksen, Jenette Goldstein and Bill Paxton vampire film "Near Dark" is making its way to DVD during Fall 2002.

    Bjork & Aliens
As a fan of Bjork I was reading an interview, and this came up: (She is talking about her Son)
Bjork: No, the area where we meet seems to be humor. We've always worn costumes, enjoyed comedy videos, and read scripts-he's really into analyzing scripts.
    Interviewer: What kind?
Bjork: Well, he went through a period where he learned by heart all the scripts for everything John Cleese did, like Fawlty Towers and Monty Python. And he's definitely into science fiction. We must have watched Alien together five thousand times. Of course, I'll be admiring Sigourney Weaver-kind of female power-and he'll be admiring the aliens. [laughs]

    Website Note
I'm still editing html to fix errors, but I've become a little busy looking for a job...but don't worry, updates will still come! :)

    This website is OPEN!
It took me until 6am this morning, but the new ALIEN Movies Resource is now open. Well, most of it, anyway. :) I still have the following sections to complete: Characters, People, Reviews, Forum/messageboard, Equipment/Weapons, Store, Comics/books, and more uploading of multimedia content. Also, links may be incorrect as I have to change them/ update them...I just couldn't wait any longer to upload the site. I was able to test this website using several browsers, including Opera, IE 5+, IE 4, Netscape 4.7+, and Netscape 3. I realize that there ARE PROGRAMMING ERRORS...Please be patient, as I am ironing those out ASAP. If you have any comments or questions, please do not hesitate to email me!.
    Thank you for visiting.

    Amanda Ripley-McLaren
A common trivia fact is that the woman who played Ripley's daughter in ALIENS (in just one photograph) was a picture of Sigourney Weaver's mother. Well, when Sigourney Weaver got her star on the hollywood walk of fame, she was joined by her parents...see how Weaver's mother (Ripley's daughter) looks! Just head on over to the pictures area and head to the 'people' section. [Note: I'm having some problem with picture uploading...I'm working on fixing that...]

ALIEN documentary ....UK UPDATE! (Don't miss this special!)
Credit to Chris for informing the world:

The new documentary on the Alien films made by Channel 4 UK will be on aired on October 13th. It was supposed to air a couple of weeks ago, but was pushed back due to the attacks in New York. The documentary is titled "Alien Evolution". Alien Resurrection will be aired on October 14th.

To check the listings of this program, just Click Here. That page gives some great details:

Presented by Mark Kermode, Alien Evolution traces the phenomenal success of the Alien film franchise, from the hugely influential 1979 original, to the most recent sequel Alien Resurrection (shown on Channel 4 tomorrow night).

The programme features interviews with visionary Swiss artist HR Giger - creator of the terrifying creatures, and the quartet's directors - Ridley Scott, James Cameron, David Fincher, and Jean-Pierre Jeunet. While each of these film-makers have successfully extended the story in their own style, Sigourney Weaver has remained the constant maternal figure of Ripley.

In Alien Evolution, the star explains what still attracts her to the role, and the continued appeal of the films. Other contributors include Harry Dean Stanton, Tom Skerritt, Michael Biehn and Charles Dance.

    Jeunet's new film "Amelie"
JP Jeunet, the director of Alien Resurrection, has a new film "Amelie" that is starting to premiere outside of France. Chris reports that it premiered in London, and is "really quite good." The poster says that it is from "The Maker of Delikatessen", while the French trailer voice-over says "From the Director of Alien Resurrection." ALIEN Resurrection did make a good amount of money in France...
You can visit the official UK Amelie site by Clicking Here. The Financial Times has some small Alien content in their Amelie review...

"...That his last film was Alien Resurrection we can pass over, though Winona Ryder's surreally saccharine presence may have helped to inspire the new film's title heroine, played by newcomer Audrey Tautou."

    Ryan's Auction Update...
Added a few more items to the Auction Update, courtesy of Ryan.

    Website progress report...
My target to get the site "mostly-online" is next friday...by then, the main index page will be up (and functional), and the majority of content will be up. Major site additions (brand-spanking new sections, some updates to static pages) will occur after that.

    Ryan's Auction Update

    The NEW Website location!
YES! This is it. The ALIEN Movies Resource page has now moved locations. The new URL:
    http://www.planetavp.com/alienshive/amr/
Please update your bookmarks! The 'old' website location will remain as it is, but it won't be updated. ALL previous content will remain there. I'll attempt to make all sections at this location online...but it will take some time. My goal is a section a day. Of course, the first section to work is the NEWS area. None of this would have been possible had it not been for Simon at Alienshive, Planetavp.com, and Gamespy.

Please Note: Many links *will not work* right away! For example, the side bar menu on the news page and most of the links on the Main Page will not work until I have time to upload the content. I'd like to ask and beg for your patience... :)

Time for some news updates. :)

    Dan O'Bannon turns 55!
Yes, Dan O'Bannon, story and screenplay writer for ALIEN, turned 55 a few days ago. For the full details, just visit The Alien Experience.

Weaver with Ridley Scott for ALIEN 5?
Dark Horizons carried a report about Sigourney Weaver's interest in getting ALIEN 5 made...:
"I'm meeting with Ridley Scott in two weeks." That was what she said at a lunch seminar this past Saturday in Williamstown, MA. She was in town as the guest of honor at the Third Annual Williamstown Film Festival. She said Fox had approached her about a fifth movie and she wasn't into it. But, since 'Resurrection' was the only movie left as a cliff hanger, she's been curious as to where they could go with it. Recently she called Scott and discussed the possibility of doing a fifth in which they go to the Aliens' home planet. They haven't even talked to Fox yet, so this is just an informal meeting they are holding, to throw around ideas"

Is this true? Well, most likely! Visit the Williamstown Film Festival website by Clicking Here. Here is what Weaver's part in the festival was:
At 12:30 p.m, Sigourney Weaver will be featured at a lunch seminar at Main Street Café entitled "The Part's the Thing," in which she explains how she selects and develops her roles. Williams film professor Shawn Rosenheim will moderate. Back at Images at 2:30 p.m., Weaver will introduce a personal favorites among her thirty-plus films - the 1999 "A Map of the World," also starring Julianne Moore, Chloe Sevigny, and David Strathairn (honored by WFF last year).

    AVP2 Demo
The October issue of 'Computer Gaming Monthly' contains an Aliens vs Predator 2 demo cd.

    Longest Full Burn record...
A few issues ago in the Star Wars Insider magazine, they had a quick interview with a person who was a stunt guy for ALIEN 3. It mentions that he has the unofficial record for the longest (2 minutes) full burn. I think this is where you get all gooped up in protective jelly and clothing, and then are set alight, and burn until you can't take it anymore. This must have taken place in the scene where the 'flammable stuff' explodes. The article also mentions that he *was* the Queen Alien. I'll check my issue and report back with the entire article.

    Drake and Vasquez in person!
Your chance to see Drake (Mark Ralston) and Vasquez (Jenette Goldstein) in Paris at a convention...for more details visit Alienscollection.com.

    Alien 3 dudes get interviewed...
Over at 13thstreet, they just got a two-part interview with "those geniuses of Hollywood effects work", Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff, where they comment on the making of Tremors 3. Together they formed 'Amalgamated Dynamics', and have cumulativly worked on Alien Resurrection, Alien 3, and even Aliens. (They have a full sized Alien 3 Alien in their office) :) To view the video interview, just click here.

    The ALIEN Experience
A great Alien site has become the newest ALIEN Movies Resource affiliate...and will be promptly added to the links area once I finish moving the website (about 50% done now.) Do yourselves all a favour and visit The ALIEN Experience!

    *2* NEW Alien-making of documentaries...
In an Interview with Charles Lauzirika over at Dvdfile, confirms that work is commencing on two different documentaries about the ALIEN film series. Here is an excerpt: [Lauzirika is the DVD guru for Scott-Free productions]
Director Files: I wonder about this because I think it has led to some consumer concern that the DVD they buy now will be outdated in a year or two when the next, bigger special edition comes along. I know that AMC, for example, is currently producing a new two-hour documentary on the making of ALIEN, including new interviews with the cast. What is interesting is that as good as any DVD can be, eventually there is always going to be some new footage or behind-the-scenes material or what-have you that can be added again to a future edition...
Lauzirika: There's also a documentary on the making of all four "Alien" films currently in the works by Noblesgate Productions, who also did those great documentaries on "The Exorcist," "The French Connection" and "Blade Runner." But, as you said, the original "Alien" DVD is pretty strong, as-is, so we would need a very compelling reason to go back and revisit it. I'm not saying it can't happen at some point down the road, but we've got other discs to do first.
For the full interview, just Click Here.

    Website MOVE!
It is set! The new URL for the ALIEN Movies Resource is... (drum roll)

Essentially, I'll be hosted by alienshive, who is hosted by Planetavp.com, who in turn are owned by gamespy.com. Don't question the logic, but it works great. I look forward to all the website will be able to offer at its new location. Currently nothing is there, but I'm going to transfer parts of the site daily...each section gets a little tweaked and edited...and it takes time! I'll also redirect http://travel.to/aliens to the new location within a few days. So, please bookmark the new location, I should have a starting page there in a day.

    On a sad note...
I was woken up today by a phonecall stating that the United States was under a terrorist attack. And true enough, several planes had crashed into the World Trade Towers, causing them to collapse in downtown New York...and more damage has occured elsewhere in the States. The ALIEN Movies Resource wishes to express deepest sympathy for the families and friends affected by these terrible events.

Alien display...
In 1990 or 1991 I had the chance to see a special effects display in Vancouver, and within it was a mock-up of an Alien and Ripley with the powerloader, battling it out. And since I didn't have a camera then, it never got a picture. However, taking a look at This Picture brought back the memories. It shows Ripley & The Alien at the "Special EFX" exhibit from 1988...which is (I think) the same tour that brought it to many museums in North America. I must have been an idiot not to pay attention to the Blade Runner stuff there though....and for more on Blade Runner, visit Bladezone.

Nostromo pics...
Want to see pictures of the Nostromo model, as it looked 21 years ago? Then surf over to Alienscollection.com for the scoop.

Finally...I can move!
Okie dokie, the ALIEN Movies Resource has found a new home. I will start moving the website, bit by bit (and updating as I move each section) to the new location this week. Once there is some substance at the new URL, the addy will be posted. (in a few days!) The content of this site will remain as an 'archive' until the university figures I'm no longer deserving of free internet services. :) Just remember, http://travel.to/aliens for now.

Weaver comments on Alien 5
Empire Magazine conducted an interview with Sigourney Weaver, and they put up a snippet at their website. The article states:

Speaking in this month's Empire magazine, the actress was asked about two projects close to the fans' hearts - Alien 5 and Ghostbusters 3. For the former, Sigourney admits that she's been talking to 'people' about the project, 'but I left my character not knowing even what species she was, so right now I'm a little unclear as to how things can progress.' So that's the good news.

Alien Reference in King's Dreamcatcher
Another Alien Reference, within the Stephen King book 'Dreamcatcher.' There is an odd variation of the chestburster present, and There are almost redundant comparisons be all the characters to the Chestburster in the aliens flicks. Also, the typical grey, big eyed aliens of the book bring a virus to earth which all the soldiers named the "Ripley Virus" For reasons i've forgotten. (For more, vist the References, thanks to Ian!

UK's Channel 4 and FilmFour are conducting a poll for Britains favorite 100 films. My browser can't seem to read their webpage right now, but I'm quite sure that ALIEN, and likely other films from the ALIEN series will be nominated. So what does that mean? It means you must click here to vote!

Chris Cunningham website
There is an excellent website on Chris Cunningham, who worked on Alien 3 (As Chris Halls) doing Alien creature effects, and then again on Alien Resurrection doing character design. He is also one of the most respected music video directors around, having won *many* awards for his inventive and stylish filming. On his commercial for Nissan (entitled 'Statistics') Darius Khondji was the director of photography; Khondji was also the cinematographer for Alien Resurrection.

Fincher being courted...
Speaking of Fincher, MrShowbiz has a news story about Nicolas Cage trying to develop the Frank Miller comic 'Hard Boiled.' It mentions that Fincher is "expected to next film New Line Cinema's Seared, an adaptation of Anthony Bourdain's memoir of life as a chef (titled Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly)." and that he is being courted to bring is dark style to Hard Boiled. Fincher's upcoming film is "The Panic Room."

Happy birthday to this page!
I just about forgot about this...but August 1st was the fourth anniversary of the ALIEN Movies Resource Page. Yep, 4 years of giving alien-related info to visitors from around the world. And even older is the orignal website, which is 6 years old. It had a single Alien picture within it, so I guess it was a start to what the page is today. At that time I had a text-based browser, a 9600 baud modem, and I could only use netscape version 1 if I was at school. Times have changed!

Some notes on James Cameron's new project "Ghosts of the Abyss" can be found by going to cinescape by Clicking Here. It focuses on exploring the sunken wrecks of the Titanic and the Bismark. It will be shot on 3-D video for release on video and DVD. (Hopefully after that it will be True Lies 2!)

Okay! I've started going through old emails for updating the news sections...I was going to wait until the website moved but a bit of news now can't hurt. I have lots more to update, but remember....nothing big until the site moves. :) And on with the show...

Greatest Sci-fi moments...
Ryan passed this along:

In a set of articles from the December 2000 issue of Sci-Fi magazine:
The 50 greatest sci fi moments
    30. Ripley dons a cargo loader exoskeleton to fight off the alien queen. Not untill Linda Hamiltons Sarah Conner in T2 does another female character kick ass like Sigourney Weavers Ripley. Back in the mid-80s, it was rare to see a heroine as a realy good, really tough soldier. Come to think of it, its still not that common.

Editors Choice: Even more Sci-Fi lists:
Sci Fi females who could kick your fan-boy butt:
    1. Lt Ellen Ripley

Scariest non-Alien moment in the entire Alien series:
When General Perez (Dan Hedaya) is awakened in his quarters, and we get a glimpse of his rampant shoulder and back hair (Alien Resurrection)
Aliens ride...
David sent me some info on another Alien ride...: I went to an Aliens ride in Granada Studios, Manchester,England. It was a ride where you sat in special seats that shook you about while you watch a piece of film that is similar to the scene in Aliens where most of the marines die. I'm not sure if it was the same scene because I can't remember. I hope this helps for your Trivia. [It does help! Thanks David!]

ALIEN Flash site
Silverflame has a knack for flash...just take a look at the amazing Alien flash site he has set up at: Acidflash Alien. I can't say anymore about it...just click on the link and enjoy the design!

ALIENS filming locations
Jon passed on some excellent bits of ALIENS Trivia about the filming locations of some scenes: The scene when the marines have the fire fight with the Aliens in the Hive was filmed at a former British Power electrical sub station. Actually this is not the only film that this substation has apeared in. I believe that this same location was used in the film Batman with Michael Keaton as the chemical works. On another strange note the working APC was actually a retired Jumbo Jet tug from London Heathrow airport. Apparently the film production crew heard that the tug was being retired and was up for sale so they brought one. They stripped it down from 72 tonnes to 28 tonnes (getting rid of 4 inch steel plating and the lead lined wheels). Then they put 1/4 inch steel around it and dressed it up. It had four wheel drive and four wheel steering and was driven by one of the airport staff. However being limited in speed and manaueverability, a lot of the APC shots were sixth scale models. [Big thanks to Jon!]

AvP 2!
I admit, I don't cover the games world of ALIENS nearly as good as This site, this site, this site, this site and of course this site, so go to them for a LOT of Aliens Vs. Predator 2 updates. Also, check out the magazine racks...a few current issues have AvP on the cover, and more inside the plastic wrap. And yep, there is always the Official Site.

Weaver and ALIEN 5
Sigourney Weaver spoke rather clearly about the possibility of Alien 5 and future film work: Seems she's eager to do a lot more filmwork: "If they want to write a good script for another Alien film and give me $20m, then fine. If it's more sex they want, great. Another brilliant drama? Yes, please...Even if I got pregnant again at this age, I'd want the baby. I'm up for anything". This was mostly taken from Dark Horizons.

quick note...
Ok, as if I wasn't bad enough returning emails while on my vacation, I seem to be even worse now. I have not had the time yet to respond, or update the site...once I'm back in the groove of things I'll be a good little webmaster again. :)

Sigourney Weaver in Esquire
Sigourney Weaver graces the cover of the August edition of Esquire magazine, for a segment on ageing gracefully. There is a one page article, and it comments on the Alien series a few times...to check out the cover and preview the Weaver article, just go to the official website and Click Here.

Just a quick note
I'm back from an amazing trip in Europe. I have all emails regarding alien news stored and ready to be used for updating, but it might take a while as I have a lot of catching up to do here...and the website will (hopefully) be moving soon. I'll work as fast as I can, honest.
